Your Thoughts Have More Power Than You Think

You Get Exactly What You Think About; Spirituality Concepts

I made a lot of mistakes in my teenage years. One was trolling on spirituality, personal development, and people trying to better themselves. I thought it was bullshit.

Well, I was wrong about that.

People, (my past self too) have an inaccurate view of manifestation & spirituality.

They think it’s all woo-woo bs and not based on reality. They clown on it because they don’t understand it and make no effort to understand it. Manifestation is a real thing though. It works by aligning your mind with your goal/vision and then taking inspired action toward said goal/vision.

But to align your mind with your vision you need optimism, and a lot of it. Why?

Optimism is a valuable energy resource that you have. It’s kind of a superpower. Hear me out.

Optimism And The Energetic World

People think about their problems all the fucking time. They dwell in negative thoughts and never pause to think positively or reflect on a solution. And if something bad/negative happens to them… oh boy, they are quick to jump to whining, feeling sorry for themselves, and wallowing in their negative thoughts and feelings.

This keeps them trapped in a state of negativity, and I’ll tell you why this is bad.

Thought energy is real and it affects the material world. It’s like an aura that you can’t see, you can only feel it (sometimes only with your intuition). The universe is, at the core, energy and vibrations. You radiate thought energy on different frequencies which manifests itself into physical reality. This thought energy radiates from every single human being and into various energy structures and other more complex things.

This accumulated thought energy manifests in the life you live and lead. By taking in negative energy and giving out that same negativity you create your own hell. It doesn’t help you in the slightest and it will make you miserable. By taking in positive energy, however, and giving out that energy you will create your own heaven. After all, you want to be happy right? Then why do you choose negativity every single time?

In every single circumstance, you can find something positive to focus on. You just have to look for it. Perspective is key when it comes to positivity and a positive outlook on life. You have to be able to take on different perspectives and be open-minded to being positive even in a shitty situation. Of course, positivity will be hard to come by sometimes, but amid your misery, you just have to remember…

You Get Exactly What You Think About

That’s the main point that you need to understand: You get what you think about.

If you radiate positivity and optimism you will attract positive outcomes. If you radiate negativity you will attract negative outcomes.

Positivity and optimism is itself a form of manifestation. It’s about thinking about what you want, being grateful for what you have, being positive toward your future, and taking action on things that get you closer to what you want reinforcing your optimism.

Now, you want to get the most out of optimism and how it relates to manifestation, I’m assuming.

This is the process.

  1. Vision

Firstly, you need to cultivate your vision. It all starts with a vision. A direction for your life, an ideal. There are plenty of ways to write out and craft your vision. The basic things you need are goals, character traits (who you want to be), habits, action steps, etc. I will be covering this topic later.

Your thoughts should align with your vision.

This step is crucial: When you think about your vision you should think about it as if you already have it. Feel into what it would be like to have what you want.

  1. Belief

When people say “believe in yourself” this is what it means. Believing in yourself is to think positively when it comes to your vision.

It doesn’t happen in 1 hour though. You might need affirmations. You might need to visualize hundreds of times. You don’t just realize that you believe in yourself and it’s done. To believe you can do something you have to practice your positive thinking towards your vision for hours on end. It takes time. But it’ll be worth it in the end. You’ll believe you can do everything you want wholeheartedly.

  1. Optimism (of course)

Optimism is a skill. It must be trained and consciously developed every single day, much like other skills you practice.

But fear not, in due time optimism will become second nature and you can manifest your visions effortlessly.

What should you think about? Well, think about what you want. Think about what you’re grateful for, what you’re happy about, what’s beautiful. The truth is that this is simple. Most of spirituality is simple when it comes to practical application. Use it to your advantage.

People are addicted to misery and negativity. They want to feel bad. You need to let it go. All the negative bs. Notice the little things, let yourself radiate positivity and you will notice that other people like you more, you’ll get more opportunities, you’ll want to do hard things and enjoy them more, etc. You’ll become unstoppable.

You will of course have negative thoughts and it’s not about eliminating them. It’s about acknowledging those thoughts and then consciously shifting them onto positive ones. What is holding you back is that you dwell on the negative thoughts and feelings. It’s important to feel emotions, and I mean feel them properly, but the more you drag those emotions out, the worse your life gets.

  1. Action

It’s your responsibility and job to take action. If you've read this far then it means that you’re at least intrigued by what I’m saying here. Take that curiosity and turn it into action.

Manifestation doesn’t work by just sitting around and practicing wishful thinking. It works by having a vision and manifesting it by using pure belief, and optimism, and turning it into action.

So get going, craft your vision, and start today.

Other Dangers And Practical Applications

Other energy forces around the world will be dragging you into their energy state, which is often negativity. It’s your job to choose where you put your energy, and it’s your job to take this energy and transform it into positive energy.

Factors that can suck away your optimism:

  • Social media (be careful with your relationship with social media)

  • Other people (Don’t let minor dissatisfaction ruin your mood)

  • Your own lack of action (Tell yourself it’s okay to make mistakes)

  • The news (90% of news is negative. You read negative news, you become more negative)

Be mindful of your relationship with these factors.

I’m training my optimism and protecting my energy from negativity. Are you?

Your thoughts and feelings are intertwined. Have control over your thoughts and you can control how you feel. Thoughts and feelings are your tools for creation.

Here are things I do to feel optimistic about my life that could serve you well:

  • Cold morning showers: Instant mood and energy boost. (Tip for beginners: Jump in a hot shower and after a bit turn the heat down a lot, it has the same benefits as just a cold shower.)

  • Affirmations: Good for self-confidence and of course positivity

  • Visualizations: Visualizing your visions is powerful. Visualize your vision every day, that’s the way to go.

  • Taking action: Will make you feel good about yourself, positive feedback loop.

  • Mindful thinking: Meditation, mindful eating, etc.

  • Eating healthy and exercising: If your body feels good, you feel good

  • Music: Simple, your “favorite” music is scientifically proven to make you feel and think positively

  • Enough sleep (Of course)

This is just an ideal, something to strive for. If you do some of these then that’s great. If you do none, that’s okay. More growth opportunities.
